We are Mae and Molly, two Bay Area designers who have been studio partners since we first discovered the pen tool.
We both draw inspiration from our community and our experience growing up as unapologetic, goofy, chronically online chicks. Garbage Gals is a place where we can collaborate as friends and artists, share our art with those who enjoy it, and hone
our craft.

Mae loves crafting quirky, hand-made signs that bring a touch of humor and joy to others. Drawing inspiration from friends, clever sayings, and iconic quotes, she creates snarky yet meaningful designs. As a sign artist by trade, Mae enjoys unleashing her creativity with bold, unfiltered pieces in her spare time. Each sign she makes is unique and full of character.
Molly is passionate about food, cooking, the great outdoors, and bold earrings. Her artwork is fueled by her fabulous friends and the exciting adventures they share. Specializing in vibrant illustrations and personality-driven lettering, Molly’s prints reflect her unique style and creativity. She also loves creating art that celebrates her AAPI heritage, bringing her personal experiences to life through her designs.
